CARAMEL APPLE CHEESECAKE
Prepare crust as in cheesecake recipe. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Unwrap 1/2 bag Kraft caramels and place in heavy saucepan. Add 1/3 c evaporated milk. Melt caramels over low heat, stirring until smooth. Reserve 1/2 c melted caramel mixture. Pour remaining caramel mixture over crust in pan.
Beat 8 oz cream cheese until smooth. Add 1/4 c sugar and 1 egg.
Toss together 1/2 c finely chopped apple, 1 T flour, and 1/4 tsp cinnamon. Fold into crem cheese mixture. Spoon over caramel crust. Bake 30 minutes or until set.
Combine reserved caramel and 1/4 c chopped apples. Spread over cheesecake.
