APPLE CRISP
Filling: 5 cooking apples, peeled 1/2 c sugar with 1/4 tsp cinnamon
3/4 c water 1 T cornstarch
Mix sugar, cornstarch, and cinnamon in saucepan. Add water. Cut apples into 1" chunks and add to sauce. Cook until thick and bubbly. Pour into a loaf pan.
Topping: 1/2 c flour 6 T oatmeal
1/2 c brown sugar 1/4 c margarine
Mix flour, oatmela, and brown sugar. Using a pastry blender, cut in the margarine until mixture resembles coarse sand. Sprinkle filling with topping. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes.
